This scene comes from an open field near my home. On this day, the sky glowed a deep, golden amber as a quiet flock of birds crossed overhead and the small barn tucked into the tree line caught the last warm light.
With this piece, I really wanted to focus on that golden quality autumn carries, it always feels like a little gift from God before the drabness of winter settles in.
